Task 3

Arrogance and Confidence:

"True arrogance is the belief that you have nothing left to learn, while true confidence is the belief that you can help others to learn as you say continue learning yourself." -  Alan Weiss

 Yes this is exactly it.

As long as we're playing the definition game . Simply we can say confidence is understanding your strengths and arrogance is ignoring your weaknesses. As Walter Bonds says "Confidence is arrogance under control." Confidence can sometimes be difficult to manage. Arrogance and confidence are intimately related.

As we know confidence is knowing our strength and weakness so that we can prepare ourselves according to that. Confident people are simply aware of both, their strengths and determined to use them to the best of their ability. Confident people judge that they are right and are  unafraid of those who may see things differently. Arrogant people not only think they right but also feel superior to other thoughts.

Perhaps confidence is arrogance without fear, and thus without defensive postures.
Confidence is like believing own ability and do anything that anyone else can do. While Arrogance is believing  no one can ever do the things that you can do. Confidence is more internal, quiet in nature and positive  while arrogance is external, loud in nature and negative.
Arrogance is the emotional and psychological tool of those who seek power and authority to dominate others, Confidence is the quiet and unassuming sense of emotional, physical and intellectual capability  that allows a person to pursue various goals with the hope for success. As a example we can take Adolf Hitler who was so arrogant and wants to conquer whole world but at last results was nothing he could not achieve what he wants. He just started the World War II because of his arrogance and authority to dominate others.

As far as I know both confidence and arrogance are states of mind and not a permanent characteristics of a person. Confidence is a state of mind that comes from understanding oneself(both strengths and weaknesses) through many levels. Arrogance  is a state of mind comes from understanding one's strengths only by ignoring the weaknesses as feeling of insecurity and unknowingly create an insecure life.
