Task 4

Fear and Respect :

"Respect commands itself and it can neither be given nor withheld when it is due" - Cleaver, Eldridge

Respect and fear are two different sides of emotion and are daily part of our lives. Every person have fear and respect on him/her. Where respect is taken as the optimistic emotion which can be given to others and can also be earned. Fear is taken as the pessimistic emotion which comes when person find himself/herself insecure. Actually fear is can be taken  natural behavior of human body. Respect and fear are somehow related with each other.

Respect in general is the attitude of high esteem or admiration of someone. If someone respects you means they admire you. They find something good on you so respect can earned by well mannered and calm behavior not by threatening others.

But now days people do not earn respect by doing superior things. They just threatened the people,  have power over  them and  make them do respect. It just like making poor animals to do the things by giving hard training. In result you may get the things you want but won't able to get respect from them.
To gain respect is very hard. In other hand respect made with fear can make negative impact to the human brain. His/her behavior may change towards you. May be they can go against you at any cost to make you harm. Which is not a good practice.

People say that respect is to be earned and not demanded and definitely not commanded. But in our daily life we either demand or command respect. Respect of a parent from child, boss from an employee, senior from junior husband from wife and vice-versa in almost relationship we yearn for respect. For example let talk about myself, in my home my father and mother made me to respect the guest come to our house even though I do not like them. I do respect the people who I admire. In school also teacher threatened the students to make them to do respect rather than pleasing their heart by doing something interesting and more optimistic.

In some cases fear is good. We know human are very independent in nature they don't do the things very easily. In order to make them do those thing they must have fear of someone or something. But in case of respect I don't think threatening others could help. It just a bad practice and can lead human to wrong way.

Task 3

Arrogance and Confidence:

"True arrogance is the belief that you have nothing left to learn, while true confidence is the belief that you can help others to learn as you say continue learning yourself." -  Alan Weiss

 Yes this is exactly it.

As long as we're playing the definition game . Simply we can say confidence is understanding your strengths and arrogance is ignoring your weaknesses. As Walter Bonds says "Confidence is arrogance under control." Confidence can sometimes be difficult to manage. Arrogance and confidence are intimately related.

As we know confidence is knowing our strength and weakness so that we can prepare ourselves according to that. Confident people are simply aware of both, their strengths and determined to use them to the best of their ability. Confident people judge that they are right and are  unafraid of those who may see things differently. Arrogant people not only think they right but also feel superior to other thoughts.

Perhaps confidence is arrogance without fear, and thus without defensive postures.
Confidence is like believing own ability and do anything that anyone else can do. While Arrogance is believing  no one can ever do the things that you can do. Confidence is more internal, quiet in nature and positive  while arrogance is external, loud in nature and negative.
Arrogance is the emotional and psychological tool of those who seek power and authority to dominate others, Confidence is the quiet and unassuming sense of emotional, physical and intellectual capability  that allows a person to pursue various goals with the hope for success. As a example we can take Adolf Hitler who was so arrogant and wants to conquer whole world but at last results was nothing he could not achieve what he wants. He just started the World War II because of his arrogance and authority to dominate others.

As far as I know both confidence and arrogance are states of mind and not a permanent characteristics of a person. Confidence is a state of mind that comes from understanding oneself(both strengths and weaknesses) through many levels. Arrogance  is a state of mind comes from understanding one's strengths only by ignoring the weaknesses as feeling of insecurity and unknowingly create an insecure life.

Task 2

The Roles I play each day :

Every men/women plays different roles in his/her life according to place, situation and time. It is uncertain to say that they play the same roles each day likewise, I also play different roles each day depend upon place and condition. The roles I play each day are as son and brother at home, as student at college and as friend with my friends at college and at home.

When I woke up early in the morning, I prepare myself for my college. Actually I do not get up early by myself it's my mom who make me woke up. Every morning she come to my room and make me wake up. I am very lazy and sleepy kind of boy. She just scold me as  my habit is not as what she's expecting. So my morning goes on like this its not the way I used to expect and I know this happens because of my laziness. I tried to change my morning sometime but it do not happen everyday. After that I take my breakfast and ask permission to leave for college then she just forget about my laziness and hand me some money for my college. She is most loving and caring mother in whole world for me. For me my ideals are my parents.
As my morning is always rushing, I do not get chance to interact with my younger sister. So in the morning I usually play role of son.

At college I meet with my friends and we do greeting like it's our daily routine and we set ourselves for our class it can be our lecture, tutorial, lab or workshop. We go through our class schedule and head for our class. At class I do not speak much unless teacher ask me some question. I behave well in class. Teachers in our college are very friendly and helpful. They provides us every knowledge related to course. They wants us to do self study and get the problems that we find during our study and put it to them. Sometime I ask some questions from which they get impressed and appreciate. They motivate us to do self study and do research on our modules.

After attending some classes our college gets over. After college me and my friends go to cafe for having something to eat. During that time we do some chit chat and some my friends crack jokes. As I am known as less talkative boy in group. So I hardly speak because of this behavior my friend suggest me to speak. Then also they do not get bother of me which means they know me well and behave as I expected. They do understand each other very well. After that we head to our homes.

Again reaching at home my mom scold me as I do not manage the things well. I just throw my clothes here and there. Because of my behavior she get angry and do not behave as I expected. As I've one younger sister so I have some responsibility as elder brother. She is kind a independent in nature. She hardly ask for my help. But when ever she want my help I do help and she behave as I expected but not all the times.
After that again I go to meet my friend and hang around with them before it get night.
In this way my day goes on and I look forward for next beautiful day. Each day I get to learn some things which broadens my mind. Everyday I get chance to explore new things in my life.
